Mushroom and Pepper Pita Wrap

This is such a fulfilling and easy wrap recipe that is super delicious. All the flavors complement each other and you get your protein, carb and fats all in one!

Ingredients:

1 Orange, Yellow and Red Pepper

1 carton Mushrooms

Whole Wheat Pita

2 tbsp Homemade Hummus or store-bought Hummus

1 tsp Ground Onion Powder

1 tsp Ground Garlic Powder

1 tsp Chilli Powder

1 tsp Ground Black Pepper

Pinch of Cayenne Pepper

1 tsp Ground Paprika

1 tbsp Olive Oil


Recipe:

Slice peppers and mushrooms and put them into a bowl. Heat olive oil in a large saucepan on medium-high heat and add vegetables. Saute for 10 minutes before adding all the seasonings. Turn heat to medium-low and cover the pan with a lid for 10 minutes. Toast pita in oven or toaster and smear hummus (homemade recipe coming soon) on it. Open the lid, and saute until sides are browned. Add vegetables on top of hummus and cut into 3 triangles.
