Pepper and Mushroom Pita Wrap

Wrap it up and take it to go !

Try this easy, flavorful, pepper wrap recipe that is also vegan !


1 Green, Yellow and Red Pepper

Sliced Mushrooms

Whole Wheat Pita

Chick Pea Hummus

Ground Onion Powder

Ground Garlic Powder

Chilli Powder

Ground Black Pepper

Pinch of Cayenne Pepper

Ground Paprika


Olive Oil

Meal Prep:

Saute sliced peppers, mushrooms and put into bowl. Heat olive oil in sauce pan and add vegetables on med-high heat. Add seasonings to your liking (I added a lot of chilli powder.) Turn heat to medium-low and over pan with lid for 10 minutes. Toast pita in oven or toaster and smear hummus on it. Add vegtables on top and cut into 3 triangles.

You are all done!

You can add more hummus on the side or a side of protein like tofu or lentils !
