If you like pork chops, try this recipe! It is super easy and a great recovery meal after a long workout !

Italian Herb Pork Chops

Ingredients:

Thawed Pork Chops

Garlic Powder

Onion Powder

Ground Pepper

Chopped Parsley

Garlic Salt

Italian Seasonings

 (optional 2 eggs)

Meat Prep:

You can make this meat 2 ways. An overnight marinate or make it immediately.

Overnight Marinate: You want to season the meat with the pepper, onion powder, garlic powder and itallian seasonings (sprinkle however much you like). Do no add the parsley or garlic salt yet. Beat 2 eggs and pour over meat. Keep in a bowl and cover it with plastic. Place in the fridge overnight.

Immediate: Season the meat with the pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and itallian seasonings (sprinkle however much you like).Add the parsley last to meat and add enough to your liking (if you do not like a heavy parsley taste add less.) Do no add garlic salt yet.

After meat is all seasoned get ready to fry.

Add a good amount of olive oil to a deep frying pan (about 2 cm thick of olive oil.) Heat oil and add pork chops to the pan. Depending on the heat, your chops will take 4-8 minutes to brown. Flip over once. After both sides are browned, place pork chops on a foil tin with paper towel on it (to absorb excess oil). Immediate add a dash of garlic salt to the pork chops (only on one side.) Repeat frying chops until you cooked all of them (you can cook a whole pack for meal prep or for your entire family.) Tip:When theres not more blood and the inside is completely white, the meat is cooked.

You are all done!

I like to add onions to my prok chops and eat with brown rice and broccoli. But you can eat it with whatever carb and vegetable of your choice. Because this is a fried dish, it is heavier on the calories.Try to make this dish after a longer more strenious workout that has cardio
